Built by Linemen, For Linemen

Less Paperwork,
More Line Work

Built by a 28-year journeyman lineman who’s been on both sides of the radio. Lineworx connects the office and the field — without the paper trail, the lost units, or the morning hunt for which pole to hit first.

How It Works

From Office to Field, Closing the Loop

Plan

Spin up a project, drop every pole on the map, and load your unit library — the crew is ready to work before the truck rolls.

Dispatch

Assign crews by geography and group nearby jobs so trucks stop burning hours between worksites.

Execute

Crews complete tickets, capture photos, and update units — even when there's no signal. Everything syncs when they reconnect.

Why We Built This

From the truck, not the boardroom.

Brian Schneider

Founder, Lineworx LLC

After 28 years on the line, our founder Brian Schneider saw the same pattern on every crew: hours lost figuring out where to go, trucks doubling back for jobs they could’ve closed together, and information getting garbled between the lineman, the foreman, and the PM. Lineworx is the tool he wished he’d had — built by someone who’s spent his career doing the work, not just managing it.

What he saw in the field → What we built

By 9am, the crew is still figuring out which poles to hit first.

Every project sits on a single shared map. Crews tap a pole for turn-by-turn directions, specs, and assigned tasks — before the truck even reaches the worksite.

Two trucks roll out at 7am and drive past three nearby jobs they could've closed together.

Proximity Clusters automatically groups nearby projects on the map, so foremen can route one crew through a whole neighborhood in a single swing — fewer truck rolls, more line work per shift.

Tally sheets get rained on, lost in the cab, or trickle into the office days late.

Linemen mark quantities and capture photos on the iPad as they work — offline-first, so cell service doesn’t matter. Everything syncs the moment the device reconnects.

By the time the day's work reaches the PM, half the details have been retold three times.

The lineman, foreman, and PM all see the same live record — same completion data, same photos, same notes. Role-based access keeps each role focused on what matters for them.

Why Lineworx

Unlock True Operational Efficiency

Capture Unclaimed Work Units

Every unit captured at the source — so nothing slips off the ticket and walks away unbilled.

Reduce Crew Cost Per Job

Group nearby jobs and route smarter so crews stop burning hours between worksites.

Audit-Ready Records

Photo evidence and timestamped completions back up every ticket — when a utility comes asking, you've got the receipts.

Improve Safety & Compliance

Specs, hazards, and permits live in the iPad — no scrambling for paperwork when crews are on the line.

More Time on the Line

Drop the clipboard. Crews stay focused on the work, not the paperwork.

One Source of Truth

Crew, foreman, and PM see the same record at the same time. The radio chatter happens in the app, not in voicemails.

After evaluating several work execution softwares, we found that none were built for a utility contractor. Lineworx delivered on these requirements and immediately improved our record keeping.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Lineworx work offline in the field?

Yes. The iPad app is offline-first — crews can complete tasks, capture photos, and update quantities without any cell signal. Everything syncs automatically when the device reconnects.

What kind of utility contractors is Lineworx built for?

Electric utility line construction and maintenance contractors — new builds, streetlight programs, animal-guard installations, node swaps, pole transfers, solar farm connections, and similar work. If your day is organized around poles, work orders, and crew dispatch, Lineworx fits.

How long does it take to roll out to our crews?

Most contractors are live on their first project within two weeks. We work with your office team to import the unit library and seed initial projects, then run a short onboarding for foremen and linemen.

Can Lineworx connect to our existing systems?

Yes. Lineworx supports CSV import/export today, and we're actively building integrations with the most common utility ticketing and accounting systems. Tell us what you use — we'll let you know where it fits on the roadmap.

How does pricing work?

Pricing scales with the size of your team. We'll put together a quote based on the number of crews and seats you need — just book a demo and we'll walk you through the numbers.
